Pilgrim's latest project, Unforgettable: Letters from Korea, was performed  in July 2013 on the National Mall in Washington D.C. next to the Korean War Memorial. The previous summer it had been invited by the Department of Defense to D.C. where it was performed at Arena Stage. Written by Susan Thompson and directed by Kim Mancuso, the performance was part of the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War.  It has also been performed in Osage, Iowa and for the Arts Festival at Boston College. Based on archival letters written by Lt. Dwight Thompson and Cleora Barnes, the performance integrates song, memory, letters, poetry and photos and song from the era. Dwight and Cleora were long-time contributors to Pilgrim Theatre and this performance is dedicated to them and all those who have been separated from home and those they love by war.  The cast features Kermit Dunkelberg, Susan Thompson and Jeannine Haas with musicians Stephen Elliott (sax) and Molly Flannery (Music Director and piano).
